What Is It? Macro Photography Art

What is this?

Macro art is something I really get enjoyment out of doing.  Here is a close up of a picture I shot one day, trying to find a macro object to photograph.  The fun with macro and other close up photography is that you can take something and make it appear to be something that it is not. As I share these photos, I have so much fun seeing the reaction of others when they find out what the object really is.

What do you think the above close up photograph is?  You might be surprised when you find out what it actually is in reality.  It reminds me of modern art that you see today.  Go ahead and try guessing.  Please, let me know by your comments what you think this photo is.  I would love to hear your responses. I will post the results at the end of next week.
